A Purple New Years

Here is a quicky. I only had a couple days to get this one together and I had no idea what kind of food was going on the table but it all came together pretty well.
I hit a local Goodwill and bought a pretty horrible clock but with a little spray paint and some craft supplies it was perfect for this tablescape and a great way to represent the new year.
I LOVE the feather tree. How cool is that! It is hard to see but it also has lights on it. A lot of these pieces will work good for a Princess party as well.

Christmas Time

This was to be the table scape for my girls night Christmas party but due to an untimely blizzard it never was. I set the table up anyway the best I could. Several of the cookies were missing as they were going to be brought by my guests and the original table included the festive drinks but I didn't want to make them without some one to share them with me.

The Christmas trees are from the $1 section at Target I made them taller with dowels and added accents from Michael's. I really love them. The Ho Ho Ho was my inspiration for the whole party. I found them at The Goodwill, they are great.
The cookie stand really helped to accent the differences in the cookies.

I thought I would take a close up of the tags. They really added something to the table. I got the picture from The Graphic Fairy. Check her out for free vintage graphics.

And least we forget the invitiations. Oh so cute.
I guess I will just have to reschedule the party which means an opportunity for another party and another table design YEAH!!!

40th Zebra Party

To celebrate a good friends 40th birthday we chose a zebra theme with red embellishments. It matches her spunky personality. We focused on the dessert table for majority of the decorations as it was the first thing the guests would see.

To keep it classy I added some silver embellishments and kept the pieces minimal on the table. The two arrangements are made from feather boas and twigs and flower that I spray painted silver and black. Simple yet striking.
I wanted a bold statement for the cupcake stand and nothing I found was fitting the bill so I made this one myself. I LOVE how it turned out.
The guests were greeted at the front door by this fun little wreath. Keeping with the theme of course.
So much fun and the birthday girl was pleasantly surprised. Next up Christmas party themes!
